AI Workshop and Prompt Engineering in Early 2026
Alpar TorokWhy it's important to learn about artificial intelligence in 2026
In 2026, artificial intelligence (AI) is no longer something new or complicated. It has become a useful tool for small teams, local institutions, and companies that want to work more efficiently. Those who learn how these tools work now can save time, stay more organized, and be more creative.
At Dalbe, we held over 10 AI workshops and consulting sessions in 2025. We've seen how AI can help in many areas, from copywriting to simple automations. We expect many computer-based jobs to change in the coming years. Some tasks will be taken over by AI, and some roles will transform or even disappear.
What does prompt engineering mean?
Prompt engineering means knowing how to ask the right questions when using an AI assistant, such as ChatGPT. If you know how to ask for what you need, the AI gives you a clearer and more useful answer.
A few practical examples:
- An online store can automatically create product descriptions.
- A marketing team can generate ideas for social media posts.
- An NGO can write press releases or reports faster.
If the question is vague, the result can be unclear. That's why it's important to learn how to use AI correctly.
Google launched several free courses on this topic in 2025. Two useful examples are: Prompting Essentials and AI Essentials through Google Grow.
Example: AI Workshop with the Visit Mureș team
On January 15, 2026, we organized a practical workshop for the Visit Mureș team. We focused on real examples from their activity: writing tourism texts, campaign ideas, and organizing daily work more easily with the help of AI.
The feedback was very positive. The participants noticed how quickly they can get good results if they know how to use an AI. And this is something you learn step by step.
Tools tested during the workshop
We used and tested the following AI tools:
- ChatGPT 5.2 - for writing and brainstorming
- Sora - image generator from OpenAI
- Atlas by OpenAI - with an Agent Mode example
- Claude Sonnet / Opus 4.5 - a similar AI, but with different strengths
- Perplexity - AI search engine
- Google Gemini 3 - the new AI assistant from Google
- Google AI Studio and NotebookLM - useful for documents, files, and idea generation - the infographic generator is brilliant
- SUNO - creates music with AI
- Gamma - helps with quick presentations, we even generated a pitch deck
- Make.com and n8n - for automations - from simple to complex ones
- AI-generated apps - we generated an example for the workshop, and introduced this topic using the example found last week on Facebook: legyenho.vercel.app
What we practically did in the workshop
We worked on two major exercises:
- We generated content (an article and a post) with ChatGPT, using a simple model recommended by Google, including generated images
- We tested NotebookLM, a Google tool that can analyze files and create summaries, ideas, or charts.
What made us happiest was receiving positive feedback right on the evening of the workshop. The participants told us they liked the course and that they already want to start new projects using AI. It was clear that the ideas presented inspired them and helped them see how they can use AI in their day-to-day work.
Why is now a good time to start?
AI is not a fad, but a real shift. Those who start learning now will have an advantage in the coming years. We are already seeing growing interest from local companies, NGOs, and institutions that want to make better use of their time and resources.
